How can the Leak Doctor save me money on my cast iron pipes?

Cast iron pipes have become a big and costly problem. Replacing them is very expensive and a big mess, but there is an easy solution.

The latest technology allows us to gently clean out all the rust and corrosion out of your cast iron pipes and apply an epoxy coating, leaving them as good as new. We can do this outside your home so you don’t have the mess or high cost of having your floors dug up. The best part, it’s just a fraction of the cost of replacing your cast iron pipes.

I think I have a plumbing leak, how can I read my water meter to find out?

First, make sure all valves are turned off and there are no leaking faucets or toilets. Then, you want to locate your meter box, which is typically located in front of your property near the street. Carefully remove the lid and raise the cap on the meter dial. The display dial is similar to a clock; locate the red triangle at the lower left side on the dial of the meter. The triangle should not turn unless you are using water. If the triangle is turning, you may have a leak.
